At the Tuesday meeting (8/12/2008), the Council voted unanimously to offer Steve Stahmer as its City Administrator position - pending negotiations with the City Attorney. I was impressed with Steve's background - even though his experience as an administrator was not as vast as some of the other candidates. He asked us some tough, thought-provoking questions during his interview, which showed to me a genuine interest in the position. I am keeping my fingers crossed that a deal can be reached. I surely do not want to go through the interview process a third time....
